Step 1: Registering foreign investment in Vietnam according to the procedure for granting an Investment Registration Certificate

The application for an Investment Registration Certificate includes the following documents:

Documents for establishing a foreign-invested company in Vietnam include:
- Application for business registration;
- Company charter;
- List of members/shareholders of the company
- Copies of Citizen Identification Cards or copies of Identity Cards or copies of Passports of members;
- Copies of Investment Registration Certificates for foreign investors;
- Company headquarters lease contract;
- Authorization letter for the person performing the procedure
Foreign investors submit the prepared documents to the Business Registration Office – where the company is headquartered.
Step 3: Issuance of Business License
Issuance of business license only applies to foreign investors doing business in the field of import-export and distribution of goods in Vietnam. This is a sufficient condition for foreign-invested companies to operate in the field of import-export and distribution of goods in Vietnam.
