The visa extension services we currently provide for foreigners include:
1. Short-term business visa extension service (DN1, DN2)
Short-term work visa is a type of visa with a validity of 1 month to 3 months extended for subjects in the category of experts, managers, technical workers or other highly qualified workers to work in companies organized in Vietnam.
Instructions for the application for a short-term work visa extension from 1 to 3 months include:
– Application form for a work visa (According to the visa issuance form)
– Original passport of the foreigner;
– Authorization letter for us to apply for Vietnam visa on your behalf
2. Long-term visa extension service for foreigners with work permits (LĐ1, LĐ2)
Long-term work visas with the symbols LĐ1, LĐ2 are valid for 6 months to 1 year and are applicable to foreigners with work permits or confirmation of not being subject to work permits (in case of work permit exemption)
Note: Normally, a work permit or confirmation of not being subject to work permits (work permit exemption certificate) is valid for a maximum of 2 years (24 months), so foreigners can choose to apply for a visa or choose to apply for a temporary residence card with a maximum duration of 2 years
Prepare documents for a work visa application for foreigners
– Work visa application form (According to the form we provide)
– Original passport of the work visa applicant
– Temporary residence card (If any)
– Work permit or certificate of non-work permit issuance (Certified copy)
– Authorization document of the enterprise or organization for us to represent in visa extension procedures at the Immigration Department or Immigration Management Office
3. Visa extension service for foreign investors.
Investment visa is a long-term visa issued to foreigners investing in Vietnam by establishing a company, contributing capital, buying shares… of enterprises and organizations headquartered in Vietnam. Investment visas are in 2 forms: long-term visas or long-term temporary residence cards.
The duration of an investment visa (for visas DT 1, DT 2, DT 3, DT 4) is a maximum of 1 year (12 months).
Note:
In case a foreigner wants to have a visa for a longer period of time than 1 year to 10 years, he/she can apply for a temporary residence card for the case of an investor. Depending on the specific capital, the Immigration Department will consider granting a temporary residence card with an appropriate period according to the provisions of Vietnamese law.
